In 1998, Rachel, the owner and founder of Johnny on the Spot, made the bold decision to start her own business. She sold her VW Bug, and with $4,200 in her pocket, purchased a pumper truck and eight toilets, officially launching Chico’s premier portable toilet company—Johnny on the Spot! JOTS, as all the cool kids call it, is a Chico-based, full-service portable toilet company with a passion for delivering exceptional service. From that first year, Johnny on the Spot has continued to grow. Each year, Rachel expanded her inventory and services to include the areas surrounding Chico. As the number of customers grew beyond what Rachel could manage alone, she began building her team.
